What sets The Conscious Coaching Journey apart from other life coaching programs?

I believe that shifting from dissatisfaction and feeling depleted to inspiration and feeling vibrantly alive IS possible (and in less time than you think!).

I also believe there’s no shortcut and that finding acceptance and contentment for your life as it stands today is the best way to shift from one state to the other.

Many men continue to chase ‘things’ (being/doing/achieving more) in hopes that it will deliver the feeling of being happy, content, and at ease—that’s what we’re all really after.

But those external accomplishments don’t (can’t) deliver the goods.

The quality of your life is determined by your relationship with life and by the quality of your inner landscape.

As so this is the focus of The Conscious Coaching Journey: exploring your inner world through the lens of feelings, needs, values, physical and mental health, relationships, mindfulness, and masculine/feminine energies.

I’ll help you cultivate a pleasant internal environment in which the feelings you seek (contentment, ease, joy, gratitude, love, peace, etc.) can thrive.

  • The Conscious Coaching Journey is an adventure into your inner world.

    You’re about to do something you’ve never done before and the skills you’ll need to master and the inner work you’ll need to do can’t be learned from books, podcasts, and YouTube videos. Having a guide is tremendously helpful because it’s through practical application and navigating actual challenges in your own life that you will develop competency. There is no other way.

    I prefer to work with clients for longer timeframes (6+ months) because it provides more opportunity for you to learn skills in each of the four quadrants (health, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, masculine/feminine energy) and because coaching support is tremendously valuable as you seek to optimize your life (i.e., make some major changes) and embrace the life you truly want to be living.

  • The core of my coaching packages is 1:1 coaching sessions, however you’ll also receive the following perks:

    Access to all my educational resources. On Day 1 you will have access to all my videos, worksheets, and guides, including my video series on Emotional Intelligence (which has helped many men finally understand emotions and transform their most important relationships).

    Telegram access. Telegram is a messaging app that allows us to exchange text, voice, and video messages and I highly encourage my clients to stay in touch between sessions. Life happens in real-time and when you use this tool you’re magnifying the value you get from coaching by up to 6x by getting advice and support in real-time, 7 days a week.

  • In my view, therapy is about going back in time to revisit your past and understand how it’s impacting your ability to show up the way you want to in the present (i.e., anxiety, depression, disordered eating, emotional reactivity, insecurities, harmful coping behaviors, etc.)

    To this end, therapy can be tremendously helpful (and provide immense emotional relief) and get you back on your feet, so to speak. I’ve personally had great experiences with individual and couples counseling.

    Coaching, on the other hand, is about taking you from where you are today to where you want to go.

    Life coaching in particular is about helping you make changes that enhance your life and move you along the axis from surviving to thriving. Other than to better understand your needs, values, strengths, and the environments that help you succeed, we have very little reason to revisit your past history.

  • Nobody needs coaching.

    Rather, coaching is something you have to want.

    Think of it as a ‘desired push’ to help you get from Point A to Point B.

    And it works best when you’re clear on what you want to do (for example):

    - I’m sick and tired of trading my time for money and am ready to figure out what living a life of purpose looks like

    - I’m over feeling depleted and ho-hum about my life and ready to figure out how to PLAY and HAVE FUN again

    - I’m done with putting work above my health and my relationships and am ready to make a change

    - I’m not satisfied with my relationship and want to take it deeper

    - I’m totally over the work that I’ve been doing and ready to try something different

    However, being clear on what you want isn’t the same as feeling confident in your ability to make it happen… which is where coaching comes in.

    When you’re making big shifts in your life there will inevitably be fears, worries, obstacles, and resistance that get in your way. Or the change might be so big and feel so significant that you’re not sure how and where to get started. Or you feel a bunch of conflicting emotions about whether this change is doable and realistic.

    Coaching will help you navigate all of this (and more!)
